My name is Amanda Essen, and I have been working in health and nutrition consulting for over a decade.

I am available for personalized consultations. As a certified fitness and nutrition coach, as well as a mental and life coach, I bring over 10 years of experience in the health and nutrition industry. I have written several books on healthy eating and lifestyle optimization and have been featured in international media. Additionally, I work globally as a freelance consultant and have successfully supported clients from around the world.

About Me

I am a FISAF and EHFA-licensed personal trainer, nutritionist, and mental and life coach from Finland. Throughout my years of work, I have helped many clients improve their eating habits and develop healthy lifestyles. Healthy eating is the key to a fulfilling life and plays a crucial role in disease prevention, promoting well-being, and enhancing quality of life.

Whether it’s about losing weight, building muscle mass, or simply developing a healthy relationship with food – I assist in creating individualized strategies tailored to your needs. I believe that with the right support and determination, anyone can achieve their goals.

Education/Studies

  • Licensed Personal Trainer: This training includes knowledge in areas such as exercise science, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, training planning and execution, client consultation, and motivational techniques to provide participants with the skills to create individual training programs and support clients effectively.
  • Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training (YTT): The YTT provides comprehensive knowledge of asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology, enabling participants to teach yoga and meditation classes safely and competently while fostering personal development.
  • Solvalla-Folkhälsan Education: Deepening knowledge in health promotion and prevention. The education focuses on promoting health and well-being through various approaches, including health promotion, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and psychosocial support. Development of individual and community health projects.
  • Bodyfight Sverige: Elite personal trainer school providing advanced knowledge in fitness, martial arts, and functional training to design high-intensity training programs while catering to clients’ individual needs and goals.
  • Certified Massage Therapist (CMT): Skills and knowledge in applying various massage techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall health, including conducting client assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and using specific massage forms.

International Work

As a trainer, I have worked not only in Finland but also internationally, guiding clients. I have gained extensive experience in consulting and training individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing me to develop tailored approaches to meet the unique needs and lifestyles of my clients.
